    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for a variety of tasks related to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This position is in charge of installing electrical wiring in commercial buildings, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing electrical systems.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Essential Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, alarm, and other electrical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Examine diagrams of circuits, outlets, load centers, and panel boards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Follow state and local building codes during installation and inspection.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Install electrical fixtures and equipment for complete electrical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Consult with engineers, engineering technicians, line installers and repairers, or industrial machinery mechanics and maintenance workers when performing installations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions, and repair or substitute damaged units.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Leadership Skills and Characteristics:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Reliable and responsible for quality work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Effective time-management skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Team collaboration skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Able to work independently with minimal supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Positive attitude.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Immediate Supervisor: </span>This position reports to the Electrical Superintendent.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Required Education, Skills, and Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Proven experience as an Electrician.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an Electrician.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Experience in commercial electrical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Ability to use electrical tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and analyze electrical drawings and blueprints.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">Note: In accordance with Federal Law, Bjerk Builders, LLC does no</span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt\">t discriminate on the basis of age, sex, color, race, national origin, religion, disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, political belief or activity, status as a veteran, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.</span></span></p>",
