He/she will promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests and members as well as provide information about available recreation facilities and activities. The Pool Attendant will strive for the highest level of quality and cleanliness in all areas of the Recreation Operations; provide prompt, courteous and efficient service.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Position Requirements</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Previous experience in recreation, amusement, or entertainment, preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Excellent eye for detail.</li>\r\n\t<li>Team player and willing to help others.</li>\r\n\t<li>Outstanding guest service skills and professional presentation.</li>\r\n\t<li>Effective at handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.</li>\r\n\t<li>Effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by guests.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Responsibilities</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Assist guests with any issues or concerns; confirm that are resolved in a professional and timely manner.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain cleanliness of the pool areas.</li>\r\n\t<li>Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain towels stocked at appropriate levels.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist guests with the set-up of chairs, towels, and umbrellas.</li>\r\n\t<li>Return all towels, chairs and umbrellas to their proper locations after guests have departed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist the Food and Beverage team to take orders and deliver food.</li>\r\n\t<li>Move, lift, pull, and push pool furniture, upon request.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Education</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High school diploma or GED.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n</div>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Skills and Abilities</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to communicate in the English language; Second language is a plus.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u>Physical Requirements</u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to be outdoors for long periods of time.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds.</li>\r\n\t<li>Also requires standing, walking, reaching and bending throughout shift.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n</div>\r\n",
