          "text": "<p><strong>RESPEC</strong> is seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Engineer / Business Development (Structural)</strong> to join our engineering team in our <strong>Denver, Colorado </strong>office. This role is responsible for a combination of strategic business development and senior engineering. Utilizing a strategic mindset, the Senior Engineer steps confidently into client-facing conversations while successfully balancing a variety of projects. RESPEC is 100% employee-owned and this individual will join a collaborative group of fellow owners in tackling complex project challenges.</p><p>This role will focus on:</p><ul><li>Develop, build, and manage relationships with strategic partners and customers, both public and private, to build a pipeline of projects</li><li>Maintain current client relationships and facilitate continued joint project opportunities</li><li>Identify pursuits and position market sector to secure new business in existing and new markets</li><li>Work with other internal market sectors to develop joint pursuits and encourage cross selling to existing clients</li><li>Lead business development opportunities, oversee client management, and negotiate project scope and fees</li><li>Lead design and project management efforts to ensure successful project completion</li><li>Prepare project communications and participate in design progress meetings</li><li>Interpret building codes and standards, prepare structural plans and details, and perform related construction observations for structural projects</li><li>Analyze structures using computer analysis programs</li><li>Prepare structural design calculations and related project documentation</li><li>Complete structural detailing and editing for the preparation of construction drawings</li><li>Interpret drawings from architects and other engineering disciplines</li><li>Review structural shop drawings and other structural submittals</li><li>Visit project sites for construction administration</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p>Our ideal candidate enjoys working with a team and diving into new challenges, and will have the following qualifications:&#xa0;</p><ul><li>M.S., Civil Engineering from an accredited institution, with focus on Structural Design</li><li>Professional Civil Engineer License</li><li>10 - 15+ years of progressive structural engineering practice</li><li>Experience leading strategic business development initiatives in a structural engineering firm</li><li>Experience leading and managing a team of engineers</li><li>Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and techniques applicable to project planning, modeling, design, and construction</li><li>Experience presenting engineering-related items to clients, boards, public officials, and other outside stakeholders</li><li>RISA 3D, SAP, STAAD, RAM or other 3D structural analytical software experience</li></ul><p>Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:</p><ul><li>Professional Structural Engineering License</li><li>Prior engineering consulting firm experience</li><li>Experience with Quality Control reviews of structural drawings and specifications</li><li>Project management experience and prior construction experience</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam</li><li>Established NCEES Record</li></ul>",
