    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>As a PCB Design Engineer, you will take ownership of medium-to-complex PCB layouts, working on cutting-edge projects involving high-speed digital, high-power analog, and RF/microwave technologies. &nbsp;You’ll collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers, and draw on your engineering experience and attention to detail, to deliver reliable, high-quality boards that meet demanding performance and reliability standards.</p>\n<p><strong>IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n <li>Design and route medium-to-complex PCB layouts using core design tools, applying Emerson PCB design best practices, manufacturing guidelines, and engineering input.</li>\n <li>Lead assigned PCB designs through the New Product Development process - from constraint setup, stack-up definition, and placement/routing through design reviews, DFM/DFT checks, and release.</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to incorporate requirements while exercising judgement on signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and overall performance tradeoffs.</li>\n <li>Acquire and apply knowledge of signal and power integrity best practices; support debugging with measurement and analyzer tools as needed.</li>\n <li>Become self-sufficient in major commercial PCB tools while enthusiastically evaluating and adopting new technologies, techniques, and processes.</li>\n <li>Accommodate occasional evening meetings for training, mentorship, collaboration, and design review, considering the global nature of Emerson’s operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>WHO YOU ARE:</strong> An individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt.&nbsp; We hope to hire you for a career, not just a job.&nbsp;The tools and techniques will change over time; your flexibility to adapt and adjust while maintaining rigorous, self-driven attention to detail sets the foundation for long-term success.<br>\n  &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n <li>A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, math, or similar hard or applied science.</li>\n <li>0 - 2+ years of PCB layout or related experience. &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Familiarity with one or more of: high-speed/high-density digital, high-power/high-current analog, or RF/microwave hardware design and layout practices.</li>\n <li>Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future \n  <ul>\n   <li>Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H-1, H-2, L-1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;  padding-left: 48px\">\n <li>Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools (e.g. Hyperlynx or Hyperlynx DRC).</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with high-speed/high-density digital and/or high-power/high-current analog layout.</li>\n <li>Experience in one or more commercial layout platform (e.g. Siemens Xpedition, Cadence Allegro, Altium).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Our Culture &amp; Commitment</strong></a><strong> to You</strong></p>\n<p>We recognize that for our organization to support a diverse workforce, we must focus on employee wellbeing.
