Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered for this position.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Navigation Software Engineer - Inertial Navigation Focus will be responsible for&hellip;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Developing algorithms for localization of unmanned vehicles and sensor systems</li><li>Designing and implementing software using C/C++ in a Linux environment.</li><li>Documenting activities, preparing technical reports, presenting results, and demonstrating system capabilities</li><li>Traveling for field tests and project meetings may be required</li><li>Testing in outdoor conditions may be required</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Abilities: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Knowledge in state estimation, Kalman filtering, non-linear optimization, etc</li><li>Experience working with Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) sensors</li><li>Experience developing and implementing sensor fusion algorithms (inertial, GNSS and odometer)</li><li>Strong programming ability in C/C++&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A master&rsquo;s degree in computer science, engineering, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with Linux environment and experience in developing software for real-time operating systems.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience participating in safety-critical software development lifecycle</li></ul><p><strong>Office Location:&nbsp;</strong>Clarksburg, MD</p><p><strong>Tele-work Opportunities:&nbsp;</strong>On-site preferred but will consider remote work.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Travel Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>If remote, travel to the office in Clarksburg, MD will be required.
