Together, these elements drive meaningful outcomes in patient care, infection prevention, and overall service quality.</p>\n<h2>The Role</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Job Title:</strong> EVS Supervisor (Morning Shift)</li>\n <li><strong>Location:</strong> Los Angeles, CA</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Full-Time | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Tuesday - Saturday</li>\n <li><strong>Compensation:</strong> Up to $74,000 annually</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A highly respected, nationally recognized hospital in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced <strong>Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor</strong> to oversee evening shift operations. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The EVS Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors, while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and infection prevention protocols.</p>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide onsite supervision of staff, monitoring supplies and equipment, and communicates daily assignments to staff.</li>\n <li>Models and coaches’ team on effective use of safety equipment. Follow all safety procedures when using chemicals and equipment.</li>\n <li>Inspects the work of team members for compliance with prescribed standards of cleanliness, including all regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Develops and guides employees; resolves routine employee relations issues, including corrective action; escalates and/or consults with human resources when appropriate.</li>\n <li>Participates in the recruitment and selection process to ensure the team is properly staffed with appropriate skillsets.</li>\n <li>Onboards and trains new employees to ensure proper understanding of policies, work procedures, and use/maintenance of equipment, chemical requirements, and safe work behaviors.</li>\n <li>Assists in always maintaining the environment in an “inspection ready” state.</li>\n <li>Maintains excellent relations with clients, and all team members.</li>\n <li>When needed, supervises major projects, assuring that the employees perform their duties and have supplies available to perform such tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What It Takes To Be Successful</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of progressive operations supervisory/lead experience, preferably in healthcare/hospital/environmental services/housekeeping environments.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced setting.</li>\n <li>Proven track record of managing staffing, scheduling, and performance to meet operational goals.</li>\n <li>Must adhere to hospital infection control and safety protocols at all times.</li>\n <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish fluency, preferred</li>\n <li>Experience working with Unions and CBAs, preferred</li>\n <li>2nd shift work schedule 3:00pm-11:30pm Sunday-Thursday</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must successfully complete background check, health clearance, drug screen and Live Scan as required</li>\n <li>Covid-19 vaccination requirements may vary by client site.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position is located in a healthcare / hospital setting.
