    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\">We are seeking an experienced <strong>Quality Engineer</strong> to play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and excellence of our precious metals manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, onsite position for someone who thrives on the factory floor, values both technical rigor and aesthetics, and wants to make a visible impact on product quality and process performance.</p><p>In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve yields, reduce waste, support new product launches, and uphold the high standards our customers expect.</p><p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality assurance processes for precious metals manufacturing</li><li>Inspect in-process materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, tolerances, and aesthetic standards</li><li>Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements</li><li>Lead root cause analysis and drive effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)</li><li>Conduct internal audits and supplier audits, including ethical sourcing compliance</li><li>Maintain accurate and thorough quality documentation, including inspection reports, control plans, and certifications</li><li>Use precision measurement tools for dimensional and visual inspections</li><li>Support new product development by defining quality requirements and validation protocols</li><li>Train and coach production teams on quality standards, proper handling of precious metals, and best practices</li><li>Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (DMAIC) to reduce waste and improve throughput</li><li>Review, certify, and monitor key Customer Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements, ensuring measurement systems are capable and reliable</li></ul><p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field</li><li>5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and hands-on factory floor experience</li><li>Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems</li><li>Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions</li><li>High attention to detail with an appreciation for craftsmanship and aesthetics</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with precious metals, jewelry, or luxury goods manufacturing</li><li>CQE and/or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification</li><li>Strong statistical analysis skills</li><li>Experience with SolidWorks and/or Minitab</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>This role operates in an active manufacturing facility and may involve exposure to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures, and moving machinery. PPE is required.
