    "description": "<p><em>Join Chesapeake Drilling Corporate (CDC) – A Leader in Hydraulic Elevator Drilling</em></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled and motivated <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Driller</span> to join our growing drilling operations team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in physically demanding environments, values safety, and takes pride in precision work. If you enjoy operating heavy equipment, leading crews, and working on technically challenging projects, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the transportation of heavy equipment and/or operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently</li>\n<li>Set up, operate, and maintain drilling rigs and related equipment, including hammer drills, rotary tables, and slush pumps</li>\n<li>Drill elevator jack holes with plumb, precise measurements and specifications</li>\n<li>Drill large-diameter well holes with steel casings typically ranging from 20” to 30”</li>\n<li>Ensure proper casing installation, including connecting casing sections, setting casing with appropriate tools, and cementing when required</li>\n<li>Monitor hole depth and drilling conditions, making adjustments as necessary</li>\n<li>Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and regulatory requirements</li>\n<li>Identify and troubleshoot drilling challenges such as equipment malfunctions or hole instability</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate drilling records, including depths, materials used, and operational issues</li>\n<li>Communicate regularly with the Drilling Manager to provide updates and resolve concerns</li>\n<li>Supervise drilling helpers, assistants, and crew members on job sites</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to obtain a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CDL Class A license</span> (preferred if already held)</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DOT Medical Examination Card</span></li>\n<li>Good driving record with a minimum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3 years of road driving experience</span></li>\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>Experience assisting with or leading <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">large-diameter outside construction drilling</span></li>\n<li>Experience drilling <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">inside elevator jack holes</span> or assisting the lead driller (preferred)</li>\n<li>Familiarity with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">large down-hole air hammers</span> and/or <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">solid stem auger rigs</span></li>\n<li>Experience driving in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">city and job-site environments</span></li>\n<li>Ability to pass a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">drug screen and background check</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Abilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift up to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">50 lbs.</span> and perform physically demanding work</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CDL logs</span> in compliance with DOT regulations</li>\n<li>Willingness to travel, including <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">overnight or extended assignments</span></li>\n<li>Willingness to work in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">all weather conditions</span>, as approved by management</li>\n<li>Availability to work <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">overtime</span> as required and approved</li>\n<li>Ability to work in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">loud environments</span> while wearing required <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">safety PPE</span></li>\n<li>Strong <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">time-management skills</span> with the ability to meet deadlines</li>\n<li>Ability to work <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">independently or collaboratively</span> as part of a team</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Good physical condition and stamina</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join Us?</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work on specialized, high-impact drilling projects</li>\n<li>Opportunity to lead crews and grow professionally</li>\n<li>Challenging, hands-on work with modern equipment</li>\n<li>Safety-focused culture with experienced leadership</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ready to drill deeper into your career?</span><br>Apply today and become part of a team that builds from the ground up.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>AA/ EOE</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>#LI-JS1</span></p>",
