    "description": "<h2>About the Role</h2>\n<p>The <strong>General Maintenance Worker</strong> performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as HVAC, plumbing, general mechanical work, painting, carpentry, and general labor. Work involves a variety of the following duties: replacing belts, motors, and filters, using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings, repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets, painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks, replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles, hanging doors and installing door locks, and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery. The GMW is responsible for daily tours and logging of various equipment readouts. The GMW also assists other staff (Chief Engineer, Electrician, Engineer, and Waterworks Operator) with their duties as needed. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This is a backfill position and will be on an as needed basis. Hours and shift will vary.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist Engineers and mechanics as directed</li>\n <li>Performs general maintenance and repair of building surfaces</li>\n <li>Repair of mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems</li>\n <li>Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors </li>\n <li>Place or remove systems and equipment as directed</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>You Should Have</h2>\n<p><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3 years of building maintenance </li>\n <li>Experience in carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, painting, and mechanical buildings systems</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Driver's License</li>\n</ul>\n<p>EOE, including disability/veterans </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Why You'll Love Working With Us</h2>\n<p><strong>Complete Building Services (CBS)</strong> is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of buildings/facilities in the commercial and government sectors.
