    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>   SUMMARY:</strong></p>\n<p>The Graveyard Casino Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the casino on the Grave shift. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities </h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Acknowledge and greet customers and guests in a friendly, warm and courteous manner.</li>\n <li>Maintain integrity of the games.</li>\n <li>Oversee and supervise all Casino personnel.</li>\n <li>Work with Food and Beverage, Security and Cashier’s Cage to maintain the highest level of effectiveness and efficiency possible in the absence of their Department Heads.</li>\n <li>Maintain excellent customer relations and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Abide by and adhere to all Human Resources and Company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Make all final gaming decisions.</li>\n <li>Be aware and adhere to all rules concerning Casino promotions.</li>\n <li>Authorize complimentary meals to players and guests and include this information in your daily manager’s report.</li>\n <li>Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the Casino Shift Manager.</li>\n <li>Develop and coordinate ongoing training for floor personnel.</li>\n <li>Promote games, call and invite players from outside the Casino for Casino gaming and functions.</li>\n <li>Hold daily pre-shift meetings with gaming staff to ensure knowledge of new promotions, rule changes and other items pertaining to the gaming floor.</li>\n <li>Generate and e-mail daily shift manager’s reports with regards to incidents, call-ins, jackpot winnings, and comp’d patrons, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>   QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior Casino Gaming Supervisor experience preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Game rules</li>\n <li>California Card room experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION/FORMAL TRAINING</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A High School diploma or general education degree.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly</li>\n <li>Ability to examine issues both strategically and tactically</li>\n <li>Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.</li>\n <li>This position requires the ability to problem solve complex situations in an effective and efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships</li>\n <li>Ability to express complex concepts in a clear manner</li>\n <li>Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in letters, memos and reports</li>\n <li>Foreign language skills a must</li>\n <li>Able to read, write, and speak English</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gardena City Work permit</li>\n   <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a California Key Employee gaming license.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Requires working in front of a computer and extended periods</li>\n <li>The ability to be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.</li>\n <li>Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIORNMENT</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.</li>\n <li>Adult content environment</li>\n <li>Must be able to work various shifts</li>\n <li>Must be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractions</li>\n <li>24 hour operation with a very fast paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>CASINO REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain, and maintain, a Gardena Police Department/City issued Casino Work Permit. </li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a California Key Employee gaming license. </li>\n</ul>",
