    "description": "<p>Job Title: Software Engineer (Senior)</p>\n<p>Location: Huntsville, AL</p>\n<p>Position Type: Full-Time</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span><br>We are seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Software Engineer</span> to support the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of IT infrastructure. This role involves the integration of third-party components, the creation of custom capabilities, the enhancement of existing code, and the automation of operations and maintenance tasks. The Software Engineer will contribute technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions, ranging from large-scale data processing to advanced analytics and computational modeling.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, test, and manage application development projects that enhance IT infrastructure.</li>\n<li>Integrate third-party components and introduce new custom software capabilities.</li>\n<li>Modify and improve existing code, recommending process improvements and automation strategies.</li>\n<li>Implement technical efforts under the guidance of lead architects to design, build, and deploy applications.</li>\n<li>Support advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data-intensive computational solutions.</li>\n<li>Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and quality assurance.</li>\n<li>Conduct and support technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, and resource estimations.</li>\n<li>Share knowledge of development best practices and mentor team members as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">8+ years of experience</span> in software engineering, application development, and systems integration.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or equivalent).</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, version control, and testing frameworks.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable applications.</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced environments.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Active Top Secret security clearance (required).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with government or DoD application development projects.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with cloud environments, big data technologies, or containerization tools.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of automation tools and DevOps practices.</li>\n<li>Strong background in system integration and performance optimization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>CULTURE REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
