Learn more about our <a href=\"https://hrportal.ehr.com/applied/\" target=\"_blank\"><span><u>benefits</u></span></a>. </p><p></p><p><b>Position Summary</b></p><p><i>Applied Materials is seeking a highly motivated Process Support Engineer (PSE) to join our HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) team, supporting semiconductor process performance and equipment optimization at TSMC fabs. <span class=\"emphasis\"><u>This role requires 6–12 months of on-the-job training in Kaohsiung, after which the long-term location will be Taichung.</u></span></i></p><p></p><p><i>You will provide hands-on technical support for advanced semiconductor process technologies in one or more key areas: Etch, Metal Deposition (MDP), Dielectric Deposition (DDP), Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Etch, Front End Process (FEP), Epitaxy (EPI), Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP), Ion Implantation (IMP), or Process Diagnostics &amp; Control (PDC).</i></p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment  </li><li>Work closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture the most advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devices  </li><li>Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics; and compile reports with high-level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments  </li><li>Troubleshoot complex problems; perform multiple root cause analysis; and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues   </li><li>Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals with a focus on building relationships and establishing trust </li><li>Apply your growing knowledge of the company’s processes and customers to help solve a range of problems and analyze possible solutions  </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Master’s degree in chemistry/ physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field  </li><li>1–5 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or technical support <b>(New Graduates are also welcome)</b></li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in process development or equipment troubleshooting</li><li>Familiar with Applied Materials&#39; platforms is a plus</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Fluent in English (TOEIC Certification 550&#43; required) and Mandarin</li></ul><p></p><p>#Li</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Additional Information</b></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Time Type:</b></p>Full time<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Employee Type:</b></p>Assignee / Regular<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Travel:</b></p>Yes, 25% of the Time<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><b>Relocation Eligible:</b></p>No<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
