This is your chance to join our team - help us to design the infrastructure that improve the world!</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\">We have an immediate opening for a Senior Bridge Engineer in our Tampa, FL office. This position will play an important role in expanding our market presence in Florida and supporting our Bridge Group companywide. &nbsp;Core responsibilities will include performing the design of new bridges and bridge widening/rehabilitation projects; performing evaluation, inspection, and load rating services for existing bridges; providing technical oversight and/or Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviews; and mentoring younger staff. &nbsp;Successful candidates will have experience designing major concrete and/or steel bridge projects and shall have a demonstrated ability to develop bridge engineering plans primarily for public sector clients including FDOT and other state departments of transportation, municipal clients, and other public entities. &nbsp;Our transportation contracts include a wide variety of structure types ranging from miscellaneous structures (culverts, signal and sign supports, noise walls, etc.) to major concrete and steel bridges. &nbsp;</p><p>Requirements:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program</li><li>16+ years of bridge design experience</li><li>P.E., registered in the state of Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months</li><li>Experience designing bridge projects and preparing contract documents in accordance with FDOT policies and procedures</li><li>Experience designing major concrete and/or steel bridge structures such as continuous post-tensioned concrete beams, curved steel I-girders or box girders, segmental concrete superstructures, post-tensioned concrete substructures, or bridges subject to vessel collision loads</li><li>Strong knowledge of AASHTO bridge design specifications</li><li>Strong experience with FDOT specifications, policies and procedures</li><li>Experience with a variety of bridge design software</li><li>Track record of establishing strong external and internal relationships</li><li>Experience managing and mentoring staff of all levels&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to travel to project sites, company offices and client meetings</li><li>Excellent reputation as an engineering professional</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others</li><li>Willingness to continue to learn and grow technically and professionally within the company</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or other advanced degree desirable</li><li>Experience with other state and local DOT agencies in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic&nbsp;</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Experience with Alternative Delivery projects (Design-Build, P3, etc.)&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;Benefits:</p><p>WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
