    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ELEMENT TECHNICAL SERVICES LLC is currently hiring the following position:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Fluid Pump Operator - Kenai, AK</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Duties</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assessment of the valves and seats in the pump</li>\n<li>Responsible for maintenance and sampling schedule of the pump</li>\n<li>Changing the packing on the Bowie Pump</li>\n<li>Familiarity and identification of the iron, sizes and pressure ratings</li>\n<li>Knowledge of the critical components listing</li>\n<li>Use of proper specialty tools for pumps and rebuilding pumps as needed</li>\n<li>Training and mentorship of less experienced coworkers</li>\n<li>Rebuilding 2X2, 2X1 valves</li>\n<li>Vac out unit as needed</li>\n<li>Understands and executes proper winter procedures</li>\n<li>Identifies and becomes familiar with the scope of each job</li>\n<li>Understanding of the Emergency Shut Down Procedures</li>\n<li>Perform pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety and roadworthiness</li>\n<li>Attend pre-job safety meetings</li>\n<li>Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, driver's hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, fatigue management</li>\n<li>Maneuver equipment following appropriate hand signals.</li>\n<li>Maintain driver logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.</li>\n<li>Maintains effective communication with co-workers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Requirements</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Class 1 driver's license (CDL) with Air brake endorsement</li>\n<li>Satisfactory driving record</li>\n<li>Prior experience an asset</li>\n<li>Knowledge of truck and equipment safety</li>\n<li>Use of timelines and time management</li>\n<li>High level of personal integrity</li>\n<li>Strong work ethic</li>\n<li>Mature demeanor under stressful situations</li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Work independently in a busy environment and diverse environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Work Conditions</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rotation schedules vary 20/10</li>\n<li>Physical ability to lift up to 50lb</li>\n<li>Travel to off-site locations required</li>\n<li>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) e.g. coveralls, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.</li>\n<li>Hazards associated with the trade</li>\n<li>Working outdoors in all weather conditions</li>\n</ul>",
