          "text": "<p>Sales Engineer - Military Ground Vehicles<br /> <br />The successful candidate will possess the ability to produce finished engineering drawings and designs from information provided by customers and local team members, in support of fire suppression systems integration on new and existing ground vehicles.  Frequent travel is required of our team and an outgoing personality, supportive of our product and culture, is important.  The successful candidate will be trained on our products and services, leveraging this knowledge to design systems as they integrate onto customer platforms.  The work will include, but not be limited to, electrical harness layout, component location while working with customer engineers to ensure both space claim and operational requirements are achieved.  Other duties will include writing procedures, including, Installation, Operation, and Maintenance documentation, product specifications, acceptance test procedures, qualification test procedures, system validation and verification and drawing change authorizations.  Interface with internal and external customers and vendors on design inquiry.   <br />*Education / Certifications  <br />Typical Educational Requirements:<br /><br />BA/BS degree w/4–7+ years experience<br />MA/MS degree w/2–5+ years experience<br /><br />*Experience / Qualifications  <br />1.Documentation and fabrication of engineering prototypes, including machining and mechanical tolerance, electronic breadboards and component design, using customer intent, cost targets, test data &amp; supporting qualifications<br />2.Experience in transitioning products from prototyping and design through manufacturing, delivery and sustaining support, including validation and verification on 24 Volt based systems<br />3.Adaptable to changing priorities and schedules<br />4.High level of Mechanical aptitude and ability<br />5.High level of Electrical aptitude and ability is an additional desire<br />6.Experience with AutoCAD, 3-D Modeling Programs, such as Solid Works, Software &amp; Programming Development, Controller Area Network protocol, testing, including writing test procedure, test reports, and designing test fixtures<br />7.Troubleshoot fielded components including failure analysis, recorded data recovery, and empirical data collection<br />8.Design and test vehicle wiring harnesses to include electrical load analysis, EMC immunity design<br />9.Create critical product specifications and requirements documents that meet customer or market applications (DOORS and Technical Writing experience a plus)<br />10.Circuit simulation experience using SPICE tools such as PSPICE, LT SPICE, NI Multi-sim<br />11.Detailed electrical/electronic hardware design, including schematic capture (Preferably Altium or Cadence.  The analog circuits will include power (DC to DC), discrete I/O, preamps, amplifiers, filters, A/D conversion, and sensor signal conditioning circuits.  The digital circuits will include multiplexers, FPGAs, PLDs, microcontrollers<br />12.Design and test electronic Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) to meet Military Standards such as MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-464, and MIL-STD-1275<br />13.Thermal and performance analysis (worst case analysis, simulation or breadboard test).<br />14.Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and Design Failure Modes Effects Analysis (DFMEA)<br />* Additional Comments:<br /><br />•US Citizen due to EAR and customer ITAR requirements<br />•Strong Contributor –  Consummate Team Player   <br />•Ability to support multitasking and fast-paced work environment<br />•Ability to adapt smoothly to organizational priorities<br />•Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance within 6 months of hire date<br />•Ability to travel, sometimes internationally, upon short notice<br />•Travel – 40%<br /><br /><br /><br />5+ to 7 years experience<br /><br /><br /></p>",
