As we continue to build our workforce, we look for people that exemplify our core values, leadership characteristics, and approach to innovation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>TMPC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team of diverse professionals.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #4a4a4a; font-size: 16px;\">Duties/Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4a4a4a; font-size: 16px;\">As a DevOps Cloud Engineer; you will be responsible for distributed and managed services, automating the installation, configuration, and maintenance of platform services.  You will manage system tuning for reliability and efficiency and guide and manage software releases for new features and support users through consolidation. Occasionally performs the administrative operation of server hardware and software. Ensures system security and executes practices and procedures. Troubleshoots system related problems. Remains current in operating systems/software analysis and technological developments and applications. Recommends future direction or projects to management. Provides expertise and direction in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an operating system.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #4a4a4a; font-size: 16px;\">Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">5 years of IT and/or software experience. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">DOD 8570 IAT Level II required (Level III preferred)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Participated in or led agile development teams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">In depth understanding of Dev Ops methodologies </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Worked with Concourse, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or other Continuous Integration tools</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience in VMware vSphere / ESXi / NSX-T</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience with networking and related technologies (e.g. load balancing / DNS / SSL / firewalls / NAT / SDN)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experienced in using Git</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience in release management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience supporting production systems using Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Competent to work at a high technical level on all phases of systems engineering activities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Excellent communication and briefing skills; shows tact; effective listening skills and follow through</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Solid worth ethic and the ability to work in a mission critical environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #4a4a4a; font-size: 16px;\">Provides technical guidance and leadership to engineers with less experience.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: #4a4a4a; font-size: 16px;\">Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience in Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and OpenStack</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience with Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, BOSH, or related automation / orchestration tools</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience with a platform as a service product such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience working with DNS, NTP, SAML, OAuth 2, Active Directory</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Understanding of systems monitoring, alerting and analytics (Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, Cacti, Graphite, ELK, Nagios, Ganglia, Splunk, Log Insight, vRealize Operations, Datadog, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Background in Windows deployment, automation, and related technologies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience with database (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL) and messaging middleware technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Salary Range: </span><span><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DOE</a></span><br><br><br></p>\n<p><span>TMPC, Inc. is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
