This position is responsible for directing work activities engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. The Maintenance Manager manages the maintenance team, plant capital projects and is responsible for plant property and equipment assets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:</p><p>Managing Maintenance Team:</p><p>1. Maintain safe and productive working conditions.</p><p>2. Directing the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Team.</p><p>3. Engage in troubleshooting/problem solving as needed.</p><p>4. Recruiting and training new team members.</p><p>5. Implementation of the PM program.</p><p>6. Maintain all plant systems.</p><p>7. Reducing downtime.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Maintenance Engineering:</strong></p><ul><li>Project planning with the Plant Manager and plant management team.</li><li>Responsible for the plant work order system.</li><li>Specification of spare parts and equipment.</li><li>Communicating with thePlant Manager on upcoming work orders and projects.</li><li>Periodic parts &amp; equipment analysis based on performance or excessive usage.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Plant Engineering:</strong></p><ul><li>Management of engineering projects including research and design, field measurements, drawings, and coordinating with contractors</li><li>Working with the Plant Manager, on specific production-related projects to improve the performance of machines and processes.</li><li>New drawing creation for plant items and equipment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Equipment:</strong> <strong>Monitoring &amp; Testing</strong></p><p>a.Boiler and Steam Generator Water Tests (weekly)</p><p>b.
