Acting as a trusted expert, you'll implement solutions, helping customers leverage our products and achieve desired outcomes.</p><p>As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Ensuring customer success by understanding requirements and helping them build a long-term strategy based on best practices</li><li class=\"lst\">Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate customer architecture, address technical challenges and maximize benefits from using Akamai solutions</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrating Akamai's value, ensuring customer engagement and communicating effectively with both technical and business audiences</li><li class=\"lst\">Participating in training and projects contributing to best practices, maximizing efficiency, and improving methodology and service quality</li></ul><p><b>Do what you love</b></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li class=\"lst\">Have a working knowledge of security technology process and concepts, security event management, security compliance</li><li class=\"lst\">Have knowledge of computer networks concepts and protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP etc.)</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate some level of understanding of DevOps / SecOps disciplines as well as implementation concepts that deal with web development, IT systems or security practice</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trust relationships with customers</li><li class=\"lst\">Have experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry</li><li class=\"lst\">Have knowledge of project management concepts and techniques</li><li class=\"lst\">Demonstrate the ability to speak in German would be an asset</li></ul><p><b>Work in a way that works for you</b></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
