This will be accomplished by delivering complete building and grounds maintenance services in a cost effective and proactive manner. Groundskeepers/Maintenance Workers are under the supervision of the Director of the Facilities Maintenance and perform a variety of grounds and maintenance duties involving college buildings and offices.</span></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><span style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'><strong><u>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></span></p><ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\"><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Operates light mechanized equipment and participate in a variety of grounds keeping tasks in support of campus construction and grounds maintenance projects.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Cuts lawn using power mower.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Services and maintains equipment as required.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Picks up trash and debris from campus grounds, streets, walks and parking areas.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Trims and edges walkways, flower beds and walls using clippers and edging tools.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Prunes shrubs and hedges to shape and improve growth.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Rakes and removes leaves and debris; cleans drainage ditches and culverts; haul debris to dumping areas; and assist in removing trees.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Sprays lawns, shrubs and trees with fertilizers, or insecticides as directed.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Participates in the servicing, maintenance and repair of small equipment as required.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Plants, cultivates, fertilizes and waters trees, flowers, shrubs and grass.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Assists in the pouring of concrete and the maintenance of walkways and parking areas.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>During inclement weather conditions, assists with general custodial duties.</li><li style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ol><p><span style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;' id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</span><span style='font-size: 14px; font-family: \"arial narrow\", sans-serif;'><strong><u>QUALIFICATION:</u></strong> High school diploma required.</span></p></div></div>\n    </div>\n  \n",
