If you’re energized by challenging work and take pride in delivering safe, high-quality results, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Electrical Services team powers critical operations across a wide range of industrial sectors including Utilities, Mining, Oil & Gas, Technology, and more. We deliver electrical construction, maintenance, and specialized solutions that keep our clients running.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Offering:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>7/7 or 14/14 rotational shifts with 12-hour workdays (Overtime opportunities)</li>\n <li>Camp accommodations provided while on rotation</li>\n <li>RRSP company matching </li>\n <li>3 weeks paid vacation to start plus 6% flexible paid time off</li>\n <li>Extensive training and career development, including technical and safety programs</li>\n <li>All PPE, FR/AF workwear, specialty tools, and annual boot allowance provided</li>\n <li>Shermco Social Club with events like golf, bowling, lunches, and BBQs to connect with the team</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintenance operations of electrical systems.</li>\n <li>Construct, alter, repair, and test all electrical components that are integral to the operations of industrial activities and electrical systems.</li>\n <li>Install new and maintain low, medium, and high voltage equipment.</li>\n <li>Work in industrial work settings and environments.</li>\n <li>Work around energized power and control equipment.</li>\n <li>Effectively instruct, mentor and coach electrical apprentices and team members to support safe and efficient job/task execution.</li>\n <li>Determine appropriate selection of materials.</li>\n <li>Determine appropriate application of installations and ensure Canadian Electrical Code compliance.</li>\n <li>Keep construction, maintenance, and quality documentation.</li>\n <li>Work safely in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Perform all duties to a level of competency, normally expected of a Journeyperson Electrician.</li>\n <li>Take part and engage in Shermco Proactive Safety Reporting and leading indicators.</li>\n <li>Engage in client field audit/inspection activities.</li>\n <li>Will be responsible to become familiar with, abide by, and to administer the Shermco Health, Personnel and Safety policies.</li>\n <li>Will adhere to Shermco’s Alcohol and Drug Policy as defined; and</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Red Seal Interprovincial Journeyman Certificate.</li>\n <li>Experience in maintenance of electrical systems considered an asset. </li>\n <li>Experience in industrial and/or commercial setting considered an asset.</li>\n <li>Industrial facility safe work qualifications/training considered asset.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver's license and able to maintain a clean abstract.</li>\n <li>Available for out-of-town work based on varying project requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER | DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Shermco Canada is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
