Description The Saint Mary's College Department of Business and Economics invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Business (Marketing) beginning Fall 2026. We are particularly interested in applicants who demonstrate expertise and industry experience in professional marketing. Teaching, Research, and Service Expectations: 3/3 teaching load that includes: Principles and Core Marketing Major Courses Ongoing discipline-appropriate research and scholarship Ongoing service to the department and the College Qualifications: PhD in Marketing preferred. ABD considered. Industry experience is also preferred. Focus on social media, digital marketing and/or AI marketing would be advantageous. Industry experience is a substantial plus. For the initial application, please submit the following materials: Curriculum Vitae Letter of application that conveys your relevant experience and your particular interest in working at Saint Mary’s College, a Catholic, justice-oriented, women’s, liberal arts college Statement of teaching philosophy that addresses your commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment, considering students from a broad variety of backgrounds and learning styles All materials should be submitted through Saint Mary’s College’s hiring portal ( Careers.SaintMarys.edu ) by 12/31/25 . If invited to progress to the next round of consideration, you will be asked to provide: course evaluations, publications, and letters of recommendation. After reviewing these materials, the search committee will communicate to schedule an initial virtual interview. Eligibility to Work: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require visa sponsorship from the College, either now or in the future.
