The midlevel provides an advanced level of comprehensive health care to a specific patient population in collaboration with medical staff in a clinical setting only (no surgical responsibilities).&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">&nbsp; The specific responsibilities encompass but are not limited to the following:</span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Performs medical examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up, consultations and health education appropriate for the patient&rsquo;s age and situation.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Obtains patient histories and develops patient care charges, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Orders, obtains and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Designs, orders and documents appropriate treatment plans/plans of care including prescriptions of medications based on a comprehensive review of HPI and diagnostic results. &nbsp;</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Communicates plan of care with the appropriate providers.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Communicates plan of care with the patients and family members. &nbsp;Provides patient and family instruction related to the plan of care, new treatment plans, and medication regimens.&nbsp;</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Provides medical care for injured patients in accordance with accepted standards of care.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Performs or assists in any duties required for efficiency, quality, and to meet patients and physicians schedule.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Provides health education to patients and families as required and appropriate.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Documents medical findings and care provided in the patient&rsquo;s clinical record, including information of laboratory and radiographic studies.</span></li>\r\n\t<li><span style=\"display:block; font-size:14px\">Collaborates with physician or other health care team members regarding patients&rsquo; health needs, outcomes and effectiveness of care plan.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n",
