This position will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on a wide variety of Ready-Mix related equipment and vehicles. CDL or DOT Medical Card holder preferred. This position will report to the Equipment Operations Manager.&nbsp;</p><p>The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a wide range of service issues that affect major components such as engines, brake systems, transmissions, torque converters, hydraulic systems, drive train components, heating/cooling and electrical systems, as well as other systems generally encountered in the industry.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Competitive Wages! ++ depending on experience!</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Uncompromising focus on safety excellence and able to perform all duties under DOT regulations &amp; company safety policies and practices.</li><li>Minimum of three years of experience working on Ready-Mix type equipment and on-road trucks.</li><li>Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects.</li><li>Perform routine scheduled maintenance on equipment and trucks.</li><li>Perform “on-site” and “in-field” maintenance and repairs on equipment, when needed.</li><li>Complete maintenance and work order repair records.</li><li>Be able to weld and fabricate, as needed.</li><li>Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts.</li><li>Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.</li><li>Ability to operate mobile equipment.</li><li>Operate a company vehicle on public highways and job sites.</li><li>Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work.</li><li>Weekend work/overtime may be required.</li><li>Experience performing DOT Annual Inspections preferred.</li><li>Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist and lift 70lbs.</li><li>Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 20 feet.</li><li>Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions.</li><li>Able to develop working relationships with other employees and vendors.</li><li>A valid Class B CDL is a plus but not required.
