Description Nemours is seeking a Research Program Coordinator to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Wilmington, DE. The Research Program Coordinator provides dedicated administrative and operational support for research compliance and research integrity functions across the organization. This role serves as the administrative lead for programmatic activities related to research integrity, misconduct, and compliance, supporting institutional committees and initiatives that ensure adherence to federal, state, sponsor, and organizational requirements. The position contributes to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational practices and procedures that promote a culture of ethical conduct, accountability, and regulatory compliance within the research enterprise. The coordinator routinely manages multiple priorities, identifies and resolves complex compliance-related issues, and adapts to evolving regulatory and institutional requirements. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of the research environment, applicable policies, and standard practices, as well as the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in the absence of explicit direction. Success in this position depends on building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal partners, including IRB, Sponsored Programs Administration, Research Finance, Accounting, Research Administration, and clinical areas, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn additional compliance and research administration systems. Primary Responsibilities Support Research Compliance and Integrity activities by coordinating documentation, tracking regulatory deliverables, and assisting research teams with compliance-related administrative requirements in alignment with Office of Research Compliance guidance. Assist with financial disclosures and serve as a liaison for the office of research integrity for by facilitating communication, meetings for the committee on research integrity, and supporting responses for inquiries. Assist with research risk mitigation efforts by identifying potential compliance gaps (e.g., lapsed approvals, training deficiencies, documentation inconsistencies) and escalating concerns to appropriate leadership or compliance offices per institutional procedures. Provide administrative management support for the office for research integrity and research compliance, including coordination of activities across all relevant Nemours sites and prepare quarterly and annual reports as required by Nemours, or other regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business/management/operations/healthcare or health-related field, such as nursing, psychology, social work, public health, or science related with a minimum of 2 years of research-related experience. Administrative experience with federal research grants preferred.
