If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Help deliver water resources, water supply planning, and reuse projects in Florida</li>\n <li>Work on water resources studies, water supply feasibility studies, integrated water supply plans, one water plans and programs, conservation plans, and water reuse studies </li>\n <li>Calculations and analyses of water supplies and demands, conducting alternatives analyses, and documenting results </li>\n <li>Application of hydraulic, hydrologic, or hydrogeologic modeling systems to support the planning and design of related infrastructure, such as: pipelines, open channels, pump stations, channel stabilization techniques, rapid infiltration systems, storage and treatment facilities, wellfields, and other natural and manmade systems</li>\n <li>Hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing, and other activities needed to support the planning, design, and integration of water supply and water management facilities</li>\n <li>Understanding and application of water supply planning, demand management, alternatives analysis, and feasibility studies for small to large water supply projects of moderate complexity</li>\n <li>Collaboration with other engineering disciplines, designers, and scientists</li>\n <li>Some travel may be required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering</li>\n <li>6-12 years of experience in water resources projects</li>\n <li>Registration as a Professional Engineer</li>\n <li>Experience with the selection and optimization of multi-benefit water supply projects</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problems</li>\n <li>Ability to present to groups and communicate effectively with clients and project team</li>\n <li>Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering</li>\n <li>Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM, Groundwater Vistas)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
