    "description": "<h2>Why Stifel</h2>\n<p>Stifel strives for a culture that puts its clients and associates first: a culture where everyone belongs, everyone is welcome, and everyone contributes to the success of our clients, their careers, and the firm as a whole.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Let’s talk about how you can find your place here at Stifel, <strong>where success meets success</strong>.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Be Doing</h2>\n<p>The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant provides support to enhance the effectiveness of the Loan Officer while balancing service, quality and compliance and relationship building.</p>\n<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitates communication between loan officer, client, real estate agents, wholesale lenders, and title companies.</li>\n <li>Manages pipeline schedules and deadline times on all loans.</li>\n <li>Runs pipeline and closed loan summary reports.</li>\n <li>Prices and lock loans per loan officer requests.</li>\n <li>Pulls credit per loan officer requests.</li>\n <li>Maintains and update client data base information.</li>\n <li>Inputs loan application information.</li>\n <li>Performs automated underwriting.</li>\n <li>Works closely with processors, closers, underwriters and loan officers.</li>\n <li>Attends and conduct loan closings.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Understands and complies with mortgage industry regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, Truth-in-Lending laws, etc.</li>\n <li>Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, spread sheets, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education & Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum Required: High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Minimum Required: 1-3 years' related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Licenses & Credentials</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum Required: Must have an NMLS number or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of start date</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Systems & Technology</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook</li>\n <li>Experience in ICE Mortgage Technology's Encompass is preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Stifel</h2>\n<p>Stifel is more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
