    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>Under the responsibility of the equipment group Manager, the Project Specialist prepares filling line equipment quotes and RFP proposals, plus plans, coordinates, manages and participates in projects related to the continuous improvement of the equipment department, the installation of equipment at customer premises, the updating of documents and projects related to R&amp;D. The Project Specialist also supports the Glopak Equipment Group in all activities.&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><p>Project Management:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 26px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Participate in the definition of new equipment proposals (scope up to $1.8MM in value)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Develop and submit approved quotations and proposals to potential customers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Organize and structure procurement specifications</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Develop business relationships with local suppliers to reduce the costs associated with the purchase of equipment and parts</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ensure that each party has all the information and resources necessary to perform its tasks</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Communicate to the appropriate person information related to the progress of projects</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Respect the project schedule</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Hold regular internal and external follow-up meetings</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Coordinate machine shipments with supplier, transport and customer</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Maintain complete documentation of the projects</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Respond to various customer questions and requests</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Manage unforeseen events (budget, resources, etc.)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">In collaboration with the Field Service Technician&rsquo;s Supervisor, plan and organize the holding of the factory acceptance tests (FAT tests) of the equipment with the customer.</li></ul></div><p>Continuous Improvement</p><div style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 26px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Identify the roadblocks, avenues for improvement, actors, their functions, responsibilities, relationships</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Identify core projects and define priorities with management</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">In collaboration with the Equipment Group Manager, design action plans to improve the functioning of the department</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Plan and manage change management</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ensure de deployment and sustainability of process improvement and optimization solutions in order to reduce costs and improve the quality of services</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Provide training of technical staff in new methods</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Ensure optimal budget management for all continuous improvement projects</li></ul></div><p>Engineering</p><div style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 28.25px;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Provide technical support to the department and customers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Establish and update the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) scope</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Participate in FAT at suppliers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Carry out measurements in the field to validate certain scoop projects</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Describe, develop or update operating procedures for equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">In collaboration with the Field Service Technicians, create and / or update manufacturing drawings, technical specifications and production guidelines for sales orders</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Open and place spare parts orders to suppliers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Receive items</li><li style=\"margin-left:0cm;\">Create BOLs for
