Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a <strong>Network Engineer</strong> in <strong>Herndon, Virginia</strong>.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:   </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are preferred with a minimum of eleven (11) year’s relevant experience with the following skillsets:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>In depth knowledge of network architecture, design, and implementation</li>\n <li>In depth knowledge of specific network technologies such as routing and switching\n  <ul>\n   <li>Familiar with routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, ISIS</li>\n   <li>Familiar with switching protocols such as STP, LACP, VTP</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>In depth knowledge of network automation</li>\n <li>Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google)</li>\n <li>Software-defined networking (SD-WAN)</li>\n <li>Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers</li>\n <li>Experience with creating technical documentation such as designs, implementation plans, and technical notes</li>\n <li>Ability to brief designs to review boards</li>\n <li>Knowledge in deploying MPLS networks</li>\n <li>Ability to learn, understand and implement new technologies</li>\n <li>Independent learner with a proven ability to master complex technical concepts through self-study and practice</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adept in network engineering, with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks</li>\n <li>Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment</li>\n <li>Proven track record of successfully resolving complex network issues and improving network performance</li>\n <li>Willing to learn new technologies</li>\n <li>Experience with and configuring VERSA</li>\n <li>Experience scripting in JAVA and Python</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you can expect from us</h2>\n<p><em>BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
