Description

Borusan Berg Pipe is one of the leading manufacturers of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U. S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking full-time Industrial Electricians for our Mobile, Alabama location. Selected candidates must be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights, weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Learn more about Borusan Berg Pipe Compensation & Benefits Entry rate: $39.00 per hour Anniversary % rate increases at 1 year up to 8 years Shift differential % for evening shifts Weekly incentive % bonuses for meeting production and safety targets Premium pay when work offered on Sunday or holidays Company profit share Paid vacation, sick, and holidays Annual tool, safety boot and safety prescription eyewear allowance Excellent health, dental, & vision coverage with a $0 company-paid health and dental option Company-paid Life and Disability benefit 401(K) retirement plan including $1 for $1 company match up to 5% of earnings Company-paid training & certification, tuition reimbursement, wellness program incentives, employee recognition bonuses, IDEA program bonuses, and more Primary Duties Perform all onsite work adhering to safety guidelines for PPE, lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry Follow instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems Use AB and Siemens PLC software to troubleshoot and repair down equipment in a timely manner install and troubleshoot AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, electronic scales, power distribution, communication systems, inverters and motor drives, conduit and fittings, soldering and replacing parts Operate equipment including conduit bender, drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, man lift, forklift, overhead crane, etc Operate electronic and electrical test equipment. (Megohmmeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, amp meter, laptop, etc.) Use Maximo software to log tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily Education & Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Obtain passing score of 65% on electrical knowledge assessment (Required) Successfully complete practical skills assessment (Required) Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred) Post-secondary technical education (Preferred) Borusan Berg Pipe is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports a drug-free workplace.
