We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Civil design, landfill design, and site layout;</li>\n <li>Geotechnical engineering analyses such as slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, seismic, and seepage;</li>\n <li>Geotechnical and environmental site characterization;</li>\n <li>Develop and manage instrumentation monitoring systems;</li>\n <li>Small project/task management and proposal preparation support;</li>\n <li>Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications; and</li>\n <li>Fieldwork associated with design and construction services.</li>\n <li>Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety, first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering. (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree in civil or geotechnical engineering. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Professional registration (i.e., P.E.) (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)</li>\n <li>Strong oral and technical writing skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Experience with modeling/design tools such as AutoCAD, ArcMap, SLIDE, FLAC, PLAXIS. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Field work and overnight travel may be required. </li>\n <li>Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) </li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required. </li>\n <li>Ability to travel to client facilities.
