The Future We Build Together.</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li>\n <li>Six months of related warehouse experience required</li>\n <li><p>One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s), such as: stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) intermediate required</p></li>\n <li><p>May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line) intermediate preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Powered industrial truck certification</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for the purpose of safety, work instructions, policies, etc</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to input data into the WMS computer system (s) in use</p></li>\n <li><p>Work overtime as assigned</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to work independently and as member of a team</p></li>\n <li><p>Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices</p></li>\n <li><p>Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s), such as: stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) intermediate required</p></li>\n <li><p>May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line) intermediate preferred</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Important Note: </strong>Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.</p></li>\n <li><p>Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning is completed correctly. Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping. Perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactions</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required</p></li>\n <li><p>Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area</p></li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em> </em><em>Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
