Technicians should be proficient across a variety of power modes to meet market demands for diesel engine, electric LNG, hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles.</p><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(250, 197, 28);\">WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ensure customers&rsquo; trucks are quickly and efficiently repaired in accordance with dealership and factory quality standards and customer expectations.</li><li>Perform repair and maintenance to engines, brakes, hydraulic and electrical systems.</li><li>Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex repair issues and perform related repairs.</li><li>Inspect and examine vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.</li><li>Write repair narratives and document all work performed and recommended.</li><li>Road tests vehicles when required.</li><li>Coordinate with other departments including parts and service&nbsp;</li><li>Participates in company sponsored training programs, schools, and events, and stays current with emerging technologies.</li><li>Demonstrates commitment to safe work practices, participates in toolbox talks and follows and contributes to Inland&rsquo;s safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(250, 197, 28);\">WHAT WE LOOK FOR</span></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Qualification as a Licensed Truck &amp; Transport Technician essential</li><li>Five years&rsquo; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, Red-Seal Journey certification&nbsp;</li><li>Prior experience in a dealership environment preferred</li><li>Computer skills with the ability to use 3<sup>rd</sup> party industry software programs required</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License required, Class 3 with Airbrake Endorsement or Class 1 (to test drive truck &amp; trailer) preferred</li><li>Commercial Vehicle Inspection (CVIP) Certification</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, must be able to walk around shop floor and exterior yard area (long periods standing / walking), requires mobility to easily access and egress trucks and equipment.</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(250, 197, 28);\">PAY RANGE</span></strong></p><p>The pay for this position is&nbsp;$49.00- $50.15&nbsp;per hour for a Journeyman Red Seal Technician depending on experience.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Added premiums available. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(250, 197, 28);\">CANADA BENEFIT PACKAGE</span></strong></p><p>We go All In on our Team with a generous benefits package including:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Extended Medical (including Vision)</li><li>Dental</li><li>Prescription benefits</li><li>Securing your future with our RRSP with employer matching program</li><li>Long Term and Short-Term Disability</li><li>Life Insurance&nbsp;</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>On-going training opportunities</li><li>Annual Boot and Tool allowances</li></ul><p>Are you ready to go <strong>ALL IN&nbsp;</strong>on a career at Inland?
