          "text": "<p>Join Nova Scotia's thriving healthcare ecosystem, where your expertise is valued and your contributions drive innovative, compassionate care for generations to come.&#xa0;</p><p>Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) in Kentville, Nova Scotia, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist, with&#xa0;Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification,&#xa0;to join our collegial and supportive team of nine other full-time Anesthesiologists.</p><p>The VRH is a 137-bed regional hospital that serves as a major surgical referral center for over 200,000 patients living in the Western Health Zone of Nova Scotia.</p><p>Our group provides anesthetic services for over 6,000 operating room cases a year. We also deliver support to an obstetrical unit that sees approximately 750 deliveries per year.&#xa0; We currently run five operating rooms daily.</p><p><a href=\"https://www.nshealth.ca/locations-and-facilities/valley-regional-hospital\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Learn more about Valley Regional Hospital here!</a></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care.&#xa0;</li><li>Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities</li><li>Provide anesthesia at VRH for a variety of surgical services including: general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, urology and ENT.
