As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for transporting asphalt and milling material along with equipment to designated destinations safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate various types of trucks and trailers. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values safety, reliability, and excellent service.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle with a Class A or B CDL. Class A is preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Transport goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery schedules, delays, and vehicle issues.</li><li>Follow all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company guidelines.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must possess a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL).</li><li>Clean driving record with no major violations.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience driving a commercial vehicle.</li><li>Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks.</li><li>Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to sit for long periods while driving.</li><li>Ability to climb in and out of the truck cabin and trailer.</li><li>Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with specific equipment (paving and milling) is a plus.</li></ul><p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 35, 33); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; float: none; display: inline !important;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Heartland Paving Partners is an organization committed to diversity and inclusion to drive our business results and create a better future every day for our diverse employees and communities.
