The engineer will manage database environments, optimize performance, and support evolving data requirements across development, test, and production systems.</p>\n<h2>Job Duties and Responsibilities: </h2>\n<p><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and maintain Oracle database environments across development, test, and production systems.</li>\n <li>Monitor and optimize database performance and availability.</li>\n <li>Implement database configuration, patching, and maintenance activities.</li>\n <li>Support data modernization and integration efforts.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain database scripts, queries, and stored procedures.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot database performance issues and implement improvements.</li>\n <li>Support data migration and data integrity validation activities.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with development teams to optimize data structures and queries.</li>\n <li>Maintain documentation for database architecture and operational procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensure database environments comply with security and access control requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active DoD Secret Clearance.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain Privileged and SIPR access.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>4+ years of experience managing relational databases.</li>\n <li>Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting multiple database environments.</li>\n <li>Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting DoW or USAF Cloud One cloud environments.</li>\n <li>Experience with database modernization initiatives.</li>\n <li>Experience working within cloud-based database environments.</li>\n <li>Database certification (Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
