Learn more on our Benefits page. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Medical Assistant 2 (MA2) performs medical or technical procedures within a Medical Assistant's scope of practice and under direction of the physician(s), assists the medical staff and physician(s) in providing clinical and administrative support throughout the medical office and provides guidance/mentorship to the practice's other Medical Assistants.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required</li>\n <li>Completion of a course of study consistent with the requirements for Medical Assistants as specified by the Medical Board of California required</li>\n <li>1 year of experience in the medical field required</li>\n <li>Previous experience in giving injections required</li>\n <li>Bilingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Licenses and Certifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Disclaimers</h2>\n<p>• Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change.• If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.</p>",
