TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works as a multi-disciplinary team member. </li>\n <li>Assesses and treats patients/clients/families with emotional/behavioral/health problems. </li>\n <li>Provides social work services to patients/clients/families with behavioral, social, financial/economic, and environmental problems.</li>\n <li> Interviews patients/clients and their families. </li>\n <li>Evaluates, and understands the social and emotional factors underlying patients’/clients’ illnesses; identifies their psychological needs, goals, and treatment preferences; coordinates a range of services; and facilitates individualized case management. </li>\n <li>Provides clinical counseling and individual therapy to help patients/clients/families make positive behavior changes. </li>\n <li>Assists patients/clients in treatment planning. </li>\n <li>Provides direction to clinical team for implementing treatment plans. </li>\n <li>Provides crisis intervention services to patients/clients and families. </li>\n <li>Advises family caregivers; provides case and care management or interventions designed to promote health/well-being and prevent disease. </li>\n <li>Provides patients/clients/families with information and counseling; makes referrals for other services. </li>\n <li>Maintains contact with patients/clients/families to assist in adjusting their needs through use of medical facilities or referral to outside supportive agencies. </li>\n <li>May execute discharge planning responsibilities.</li>\n <li> Participates in social and health programs in the region/community; may assist/participate in planning supportive events.</li>\n <li> May travel to patients’/clients’ homes to render services. </li>\n <li>Displays an understanding of diversity. </li>\n <li>Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). </li>\n <li>Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. </li>\n <li>Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in a mental health specialty (e.g., Master of Social Work, Master of Mental Health, Master of Mental Health Counseling, or Master of Marriage and Family Therapy) from an accredited university</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One (1) year of relevant job-related post-master’s degree work experience in a supervised clinical setting.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid state driver license. </li>\n <li>Required to be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and with a minimum of two (2) years of licensed driving experience. </li>\n <li>Required to provide a seven (7)-year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) prior to employment. \n  <ul>\n   <li>Will have received no more than two (2) minor violations in the past three (3) years and zero (0) major violations in the past five (5) years. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Use of personal vehicle(s) required. \n  <ul>\n   <li>Vehicle owner must maintain adequate insurance coverage for personal vehicle(s) used in conjunction with duties. </li>\n   <li>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) will reimburse the business use of personal vehicle(s) in accordance with procedures defined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
