    "jobDescription": "EnviroScience, Inc.<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>Full time Regular<p></p><p></p><div><b>Position Summary</b></div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p>A mid-level Civil Project Engineer at EnviroScience, Inc. will support efforts to ensure engineering work maintains adherence to environmental regulations and industry standards.  This role includes developing sustainable solutions for stormwater systems, water/wastewater treatment, distribution/collection systems for private and municipal clients. The position emphasizes collaboration with clients, engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects that meet regulatory standards.</p><p></p><p><b>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></p><p></p><p><b>Project Design and Development</b></p><ul><li><p>Design and construction for stormwater systems, water/wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems.</p></li><li><p>Design, and construction support for municipal and private development projects such as green infrastructure, sediment and erosion control, utility services, construction details, stormwater management, wastewater systems and grading design.</p></li><li><p>Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools like HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and SWMM.</p></li><li><p>Generate H&amp;H reports detailing modeling process, results, recommendations, and their compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.</p></li><li><p>Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for utility projects.</p></li><li><p>Lead plan set development to ensure the plans convey the design intent and meet the goals of the project</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Technical Duties</b></p><ul><li><p>Provide technical support on water resources or treatment issues to government agencies.</p></li><li><p>Construction project specific cost estimating, development of project specifications, and preparation of bid documents</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Preform water quality studies to identify and characterize water pollutant sources.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compliance &amp; Permitting</b></p><ul><li><p>Prepare permit applications, including EPA PTI, stormwater management plans, floodplain permits, NPDES permits, and other regulatory compliance documentation.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all designs comply with industry codes, standards, and regulations</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Communication &amp; Collaboration</b></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to deliver projects within scope and budget</p></li><li><p>Deliver client-focused solutions by ensuring project milestones are met, building strong relationships, and maintaining rigorous quality standards</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements</b></p><p></p><p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required.</p></li><li><p>Ohio Professional Engineer (PE) license or E.I. with the ability to obtain P.E. within 12 months.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>A minimum of 3 years in Site/Civil Engineering</p></li><li><p>Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions and the ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil engineering-related projects including stormwater and hydraulic design.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with GIS software</p></li><li><p>Experience working with municipal, state, or federal clients.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of industry standards, such as ASCE, AWWA, and EPA regulations.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, or SWMM.</p></li><li><p>Design experience with grading/site design, green infrastructure, and/or stormwater management.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desired Skills:</b></p><ul><li><p>Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and in team settings.</p></li><li><p>Passionate about their community and their profession; eager to learn, mentor, and grow within the organization.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Environment</b></p><p></p><p>We enjoy and appreciate collaboration as a team and expect great communication from the candidate.  Teamwork is anticipated through one on ones with staff but will also need to occur through many phone and text/email conversions. Work will consist of office time to collaborate with other managers and staff.</p><p>This candidate is expected to come into the office daily to assist staff and project workload.  Remote and work from home will occur as needed and with pre-approval from your manager.
