    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Church Custodian Position</span><br>Great Life Church, Spring Hill, Florida<br>Full-Time Employment<br>Reports To: Executive Leadership<br><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Opportunity:</span><br>Great Life Church is looking for the ideal candidate for a Church custodial position.  We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Church Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. The custodian will play a vital role in ensuring that the church is clean, safe, and welcoming.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities will include:</span><br>- Clean and sanitize all areas of the church, including the sanctuary, fellowship hall, classrooms, offices, and restrooms.</p>\n<p>- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors.</p>\n<p>- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.</p>\n<p>- Set up and arrange tables, chairs, and other equipment for services, events, and meetings.</p>\n<p>- Perform minor repairs and report major maintenance issues to the property manager.</p>\n<p>- Maintain supplies of cleaning materials and restock restrooms and other areas as needed.</p>\n<p>- Ensure the security of the building by locking doors and windows after services and events.</p>\n<p>- Assist with seasonal and special projects, such as decorating for holidays or assisting with outdoor clean-up.</p>\n<p>- Perform additional duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the church, including special events, weddings &amp; funerals.<br>- Any other reasonable requests as delegated by ministry leadership </p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span><br>- Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred.<br>- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.<br>- Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).<br>- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<br>- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.<span> <br>- Commitment to maintaining a respectful and positive attitude toward the church and its members.</span><span> <br>- Must be an active and committed attender of Great Life Church</span></p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits</span><br>- Competitive hourly wage.</p>\n<p>- Flexible work schedule.</p>\n<p>- Opportunity to serve in a faith-based environment.</p>\n<p>- Paid time off (for full-time employees).</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">How To Apply</span><br>Apply online on our website at the following link:</p>\n<p>https://greatlifechurch.bamboohr.com/careers</p>",
