The phlebotomist ensures proper handling and transport of specimens to the appropriate laboratory. The phlebotomist may also perform preanalytical and post analytical tasks, as well as clerical duties.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Demonstrated proficiency in MS office suite of products. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Demonstrates knowledge of blood and body fluid precautions. Successful completion of a Certified Phlebotomy Training program and 3-5 years of Phlebotomy experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.</p>",
