Description

We are ERock! ERock is a leader and innovator of Electrical Resiliency-As-A-Service. Our advanced dual-purpose microgrids protect companies, critical infrastructure, and communities from unexpected power outages, ensuring business continuity and civic durability. ERock’s dual-purpose microgrids use natural gas and renewable natural gas (RNG) to drive the nation’s most dependable microgrids — all while producing significantly lower to zero carbon emissions than traditional diesel backup generators. Powered by GraniteEcosystem™, our revolutionary software system, Enchanted Rock solutions provide 24/7/365 monitoring, optimization, and forecasts to enable worry-free, reliable power for businesses. The ERock solution brings together patented technologies, advanced dual-purpose microgrid designs and integrated end-to-end services. The Power is On and we keep it on. What you’ll do… We are seeking a disciplined and results-driven Operations Manager to lead site operations at an assigned ERock power generation facility. This role is responsible for building, leading, and sustaining a high-performing operations team that delivers safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. This position is site-based and accountable for the day-to-day execution of operations across all generation and balance-of-plant systems. The Operations Manager establishes operational structure, shift coverage, training programs, and procedures while ensuring consistent execution aligned with company standards. This role operates within ERock’s management model, partnering closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and corporate functional teams to ensure operational readiness and long-term performance. This role reports to the Site Manager at the assigned site. Key Responsibilities: Leading and supervising Operations personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. Establishing and maintaining 24/7 shift coverage, including schedules, rotations, and on-call support. Driving consistent execution of operating procedures, switching activities, and system operations. Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms, abnormal conditions, and grid events. Ensuring accurate documentation of operational activities, logs, and shift turnover reporting. Supporting development, validation, and implementation of operating procedures and work instructions. Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture, including adherence to PPE, LOTO, and environmental requirements. Coordinating with Maintenance and Engineering to communicate equipment status, support outages, and prioritize corrective actions. Monitoring key performance indicators such as availability, reliability, and operational performance, and driving continuous improvement. Overseeing contractor activities impacting plant operations to ensure alignment with safety and operational expectations. Supporting training and qualification of operators through structured programs, drills, and ongoing development. Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, environmental, and operational requirements. Providing clear and timely reporting to the Plant Manager and corporate leadership. Role Scope & Leadership Expectations This role is responsible for the full execution of site operations and the development of the operations team. The Operations Manager sets expectations for performance, accountability, and professionalism across all shift personnel. Success in this role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to drive consistency in execution across a 24/7 operating environment. The Operations Manager is expected to identify gaps, improve processes, and elevate team capability over time. This role serves as a key interface between site operations and corporate functional teams, ensuring alignment with company standards while maintaining ownership of site execution.
