Directs the day-to-day quality deliverables & initiatives, examples include C of C review, shipment data packages, root cause & investigation, tooling inspection, non-conformance control & documentation. Manages the supplier quality function including performance metrics, quality deliverables and effective supplier RCCA’s. Manages the calibration system supporting the procurement and service of all inspection equipment and calibrated instruments/tooling. Supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of inspection procedures and technologies. Implements and helps maintain the site Quality Management System in accordance with current quality standards in an AS9100 environment.\n<h2>Impact of the Role</h2>\n<h3>General Profile</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages professional employees and/or supervisors </li>\n <li>Must have at least one professional expert or one supervisor as a direct report</li>\n <li>Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty</li>\n <li>Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges</li>\n <li>Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from manager </li>\n <li>Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers</li>\n <li>Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential Functions</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages programs and activities within the quality assurance functions of an organization. </li>\n <li>Supervises audit or inspection processes meant to monitor compliance with established quality standards. </li>\n <li>Administers policies and programs ensuring that organizational products and processes meet established quality standards. </li>\n <li>Participates in the development, implementation, and administration of an organizational quality management system and monitors progress against strategic quality-related goals. </li>\n <li>Manages the work of a team of analysts that collect data identifying potential quality failures, evaluate quality of raw materials or components, in-progress goods, processes or operations, and implement and measure the impact of corrective actions. </li>\n <li>Solicits internal and external feedback with the goal of continuously improving processes or products. </li>\n <li>Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.  </li>\n <ul>\n  <h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Required education and experience:</strong> Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience</li>\n   <li><strong>Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills:</strong> Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Preferred education and experience:</strong> 10 years of prior engineering experience in a quality, technical, or manufacturing environment preferred.</li>\n   <li><strong>Discipline/Major:</strong> Bachelor of Science Degree in Quality Management, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related field.</li>\n   <li><strong>Certifications: </strong>IPC-610/620 preferred.</li>\n   <li><strong>Knowledge, skills & abilities:</strong> Knowledge of industry standards such as (ANSI, ASTM, IPC, J-STD, etc.), in depth GD&T understanding and application, practical knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection, strong leadership and RCCA skills, ability to manage technical staff in a cross functional environment. CMM Inspection. GD&T. Collaboration. AS9100. Quality Management System. Communication. Training. Leadership.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p>We are on a 9/80 schedule (9 hour days Monday - Thursday, alternating Fridays off, opposite Fridays 8 hour days)</p>\n  <h2>Physical Requirements</h2>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <h2>Travel Requirements</h2>Up to 25% travel likely.\n  <h2>Pay Range (USD)</h2>$140,000.00 - $150,000.00\n  <h2>Additional Compensation</h2>Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.\n  <h2>Benefits</h2>Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts.
