Perform a variety of clerical functions.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet patients in-person and via telephone</li>\n <li>Verify insurance eligibility and copy insurance cards</li>\n <li>Perform financial and eligibility screening for clinic programs</li>\n <li>Print daily schedule and confirm next day’s appointments</li>\n <li>Complete appropriate paperwork as needed for patients: school excuses, Head Start forms, etc.</li>\n <li>Make follow-up appointments f<em>o</em>r referrals from other sites</li>\n <li>Call, reschedule  and mail letters to all N/S patients</li>\n <li>Responsible for patients checking in through completing encounters, personal records forms, etc. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent</li>\n <li>One year experience in a medical or dental office</li>\n <li>Experience in verifying and billing insurance/program eligibility</li>\n <li><strong>Bilingual English/Spanish</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience/familiarity with Practice Management and Electronic Dental Records systems, NextGen preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to interface with all levels of personnel in a professional manner</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction</li>\n <li>Ability to type minimum 35 WPM</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred Skills/Knowledge/Abilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience/familiarity with Practice Management and Electronic Medical Records systems, NextGen preferred</li>\n <li>Experience/familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office products, business e-mail communication systems and internet search capabilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pay Range</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>$21.50 - $22.00 Depending On Experience</li>\n</ul>",
