This support position focuses on agriculture accounts and personal lines that are managed by the main office rather than by a specific insurance agent. They assist with general and administrative functions, policy management, and processing of policy transactions.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key areas of responsibility:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Customer service:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide exceptional customer service while responding to calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with internal and external business partners to ensure all insurance and financial needs are met.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Demonstrate dependability and flexibility, responding to support requests promptly.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Policy management:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide quotes, issue policies, and negotiate policy terms and conditions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and process new applications, renewals, and endorsements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain working relationships with insurance company underwriters and act as an underwriter for the independent insurance companies represented as necessary.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Determine terms and conditions of insurance coverage based on account risk analysis.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Administrative &amp; compliance:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accurately and efficiently process system data, process policy transactions, and retain detailed transaction records.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adhere to all Company and Insurer policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain working knowledge of insurance and specialty lines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Respond positively and efficiently to other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key competencies:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate for the Agriculture &amp; Personal Lines Account Manager possesses a combination of education and experience to be able to <u>perform the primary duties of this position with little supervision</u>, managing multiple projects simultaneously. They <u>adapt easily</u> to system, process, product, and service changes, and can<u>&nbsp;reason, solve problems and think critically</u>. They must demonstrate a high level of <u>integrity, personal diplomacy, and respect</u>. Must be able and willing to abide by all Company policies, procedures, and insurance regulations. Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry workflow is a plus but isn&rsquo;t required. Must have or be willing to obtain the <u>appropriate insurance licensure</u> in the State of South Dakota, and training will be provided for candidates whose skills and experience align with our other required competencies.
