We enable pharmacy care.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Accountable for management, oversight and operations of all aspects within the pharmacy consistent with professional, ethical, and legal standards of proper pharmacy practice.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the supervision of pharmacy staff involved in the pharmacy workflow including hiring, training, data entry, verification and dispensing of medications.</li>\n <li>Responsible for drug purchasing and inventory controls of the pharmacy.</li>\n <li>Ensure that billing & remittance documents are completed in an accurate and time sensitive manner.</li>\n <li>Meets with pharma representatives and maintains knowledge of therapeutics, pricing and patient assistance programs.</li>\n <li>Monitor and make recommendations to fulfillment staff on inventory management.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development of a management reporting dashboard.</li>\n <li>Creates ad hoc reports for management.</li>\n <li>Addresses HCP pharmaceutical issues and drug information questions.</li>\n <li>Ensures literacy level of patient information appropriate for consumer.</li>\n <li>Ensures annual review and update of patient education material as necessary.</li>\n <li>Develops and implements patient and medication therapy management program.</li>\n <li>Review, edit and approve all marketing and web-site information prior to publication.</li>\n <li>Ensures that qualified clinicians are accountable to the organization for decisions affecting consumers.</li>\n <li>Maintain Quality Assurance tracking program.</li>\n <li>Ensure confidentiality of patient information and their records, and destruction of relevant documentation which contains patient information.</li>\n <li>Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as State and Federal laws.</li>\n <li>Work collaboratively with other pharmacies/staff and upper level management team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directly supervises pharmacy staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.</li>\n <li>Current licenses in good standing to practice pharmacy in the state of Florida.</li>\n <li>Ability to supervise pharmacy staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care.</li>\n <li>A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.</li>\n <li>Computer experience mandatory.
