    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The QHSE Inspector will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.  This position will also conduct Quality Control tests. We’re looking for a highly organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level in terms of safety, security, and accuracy. A proven track record of experience is essential. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Functions:</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Quality Control:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will Conduct Quality Control Checks throughout the manufacturing process inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced.</li>\n<li>Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work; confirming re-work</li>\n<li>Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications.</li>\n<li>Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.</li>\n<li>Report inspection and test data. </li>\n<li>Create an effective/efficient testing protocol to be used across all product lines</li>\n<li>Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) issues and complaints relating to quality.</li>\n<li>Inspect and test activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.</li>\n<li>Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.</li>\n<li>Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.</li>\n<li>Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.</li>\n<li>Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.<br></li>\n<li>Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.</li>\n<li>Design, develop and implement quality control training programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Safety:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.</span></li>\n<li><span>Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.</span></li>\n<li><span>Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.</span></li>\n<li><span>Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.</span><br></li>\n<li><span>Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Duties:</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Please note this job description is not designated to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.  Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field preferred. Experience can substitute degree on a 1:1 basis.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">License:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">none initially, however successful passing of safety and certification training will be required throughout employment with CROFT.</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Industry certification desired</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">5+ years of Quality Control or Safety experience</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Excellent time management</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to translate skills and knowledge to others</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Ability to effectively communicate clearly</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Run reports and audits</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Multitask</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Self-driven</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail</span></li>\n<li><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Work will independently and in a team setting</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Offer</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Local to Needville, TX or the surrounding area.
