TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<strong>Your Role:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversees the referral process from start to finish.</li>\n <li>Sends and receives referrals electronically.</li>\n <li>Sends clinical information to third party payers and health care agencies.</li>\n <li>Facilitates referrals for other care services.</li>\n <li>Functions as a key point of contact (POC) between clinical staff members and payers.</li>\n <li>Contributes to improved patient outcomes and overall healthcare delivery.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates an understanding of diversity.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).</li>\n <li>Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Reports To</strong>: MS [Medicus Select]/Director Operations (JC: 820802).\n<strong>Supervises</strong>: None.\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<strong>Required Education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency).\n<strong>Preferred Education: </strong>Vocational certificate or associate degree in a healthcare, education, information science, or related field. \n<strong>Required Experience:</strong> Two (2) years of relevant, job-related work experience.\n<strong>Preferred Experience:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) years of experience with Allscripts Practice Management (PM) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) and/or in insurance, billing, and collections. </li>\n <li>Clinical background or experience in a medical setting. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of charges, payments, and collections. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of Allscripts. </li>\n <li>Ability to multi-task effectively. </li>\n <li>Very meticulous. </li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong> None.\n<strong>Preferred Certification/License/Registry:</strong> None.\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>If you are interested in becoming a part of TMH’s legacy of quality & compassionate healthcare, we want to know you.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Please submit your application & resume TODAY!
