The Group’s head office is in Malta but is also present through offices in Italy, Cyprus, Morocco, </span><br><span>Nigeria and Algeria.  </span><br><span> </span><br><span>Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group’s roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first </span><br><span>pair of NIKE was sold in Malta. </span><br><span> </span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role purpose </span><br><span>Supporting the store manager in the daily business operations of the retail store. Conducting general </span><br><span>tasks which include supervising, communicating, and carrying out store duties to ensure the efficient </span><br><span>operation of the store.  </span><br><span> </span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The key duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows: </span><br><span>• Supervising, training, and motivating staff to perform at their ultimate best </span><br><span>• Assisting the retail store manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customers </span><br><span>• Coordinating the daily customer service operations such as sales process, orders, and payments </span><br><span>• Tracking the progress of weekly, monthly, and annual objectives </span><br><span>• Monitoring and maintaining the store inventory </span><br><span>• Evaluating employee performance and identifying hiring and training needs </span><br><span>• Coaching and supporting new and existing sales associates in the store </span><br><span>• Suggesting sales techniques and ideas with the team to increase sales revenue </span><br><span>• Communicating with clients and evaluating their needs </span><br><span>• Evaluating consumer behavior and adjusting product positioning </span><br><span>• Producing reports and analysing and interpreting retail data </span><br><span>• Making sure that all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines </span><br><span>• Acting as a store representative and setting an example for the rest of the team </span><br><span>• Ensuring a high quality/standard of work and service throughout. </span><br><span> </span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core competencies, knowledge, and experience </span><br><span>• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a retail store, ideally occupying a supervisory or </span><br><span>leadership role </span><br><span>• Familiarity with financial and customer service principles </span><br><span>• Able to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets, and sales statistics </span><br><span>• Proficient user of MS Office  </span><br><span>• Leadership and organizational abilities </span><br><span>• Interpersonal and communication skills </span><br><span>• Problem-solving attitude </span><br><span>• Flexibility to work in shifts</span></p>",
