If you enjoy working with testing equipment, analyzing data, supporting manufacturing operations, and contributing to a strong team environment — you belong at Spectro.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Schedule</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Starting &nbsp;Wage:</strong> $22.00/hour&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Night &nbsp;Shift Premium:</strong> Additional $1.30/hour&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Shift Time:</strong> Nights: 4:45 PM – 5:00 AM&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p>In this role, you will support laboratory operations, quality systems, and process improvement initiatives throughout the casthouse operation.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Perform laboratory testing, sample preparation, and analysis to support billet and &nbsp;slab casthouse operations&nbsp;</li><li>Operate &nbsp;and maintain laboratory equipment including spectrometers, optical microscopes, CNC machines, heat treat ovens, testing equipment, and material preparation tools&nbsp;</li><li>Accurately document, report, and maintain product and process records to support traceability, quality standards, and compliance requirements&nbsp;</li><li>Support manufacturing process improvement, statistical monitoring, and quality assurance initiatives across Production and Metallurgical teams&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain laboratory procedures, work instructions, Measurement Assurance documentation, and ISO-related records&nbsp;</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment and assist in maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas&nbsp;</li><li>Train and support team members on laboratory equipment, testing procedures, and safe work practices&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with general laboratory operations including material handling and fork truck operation as needed</li></ul><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><p>We’re looking for detail-oriented individuals who are motivated to learn, take ownership of their work, and thrive in a technical manufacturing environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Basic Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to safely use cutting and grinding equipment including saws, grinders, sanders, and related tools&nbsp;</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work safely in an industrial laboratory and manufacturing environment&nbsp;</li><li>Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline&nbsp;</li><li>Prior laboratory or manufacturing testing experience&nbsp;</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency&nbsp;</li><li>Experience operating a Spectrometer and Optical Microscope&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to learn and safely operate small machine tools and fork trucks&nbsp;</li><li>Experience supporting quality systems and process improvement initiatives&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with statistical monitoring and process capability methods&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join EGA Spectro Alloys?</strong></p><p>Aluminum is one of the world’s greatest recycling success stories, and Spectro is helping shape the future of sustainable manufacturing.
