You will work with a team of Senior-level Network Engineers leading projects crafting, implementing, and maintaining our global WAN/LAN network infrastructure. Dynamic, fast-changing and unpredictable defines our information technology team. You will also be provided with opportunities to work on Palo Alto equipment.\n<p><strong>Application Process:</strong> Interested candidates should submit their resume detailing their qualifications and experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Security Clearance Requirements:</u></strong></p>\n<p>This position requires all candidates to be <strong>U.S. Citizens.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct complex network problem analysis; resolve complex network and telecommunications problems.</li>\n <li>Research, recommend, and evaluate network performance, optimization, and security solutions.</li>\n <li>Optimize end-to-end network system performance and traffic flow management.</li>\n <li>Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through problem analysis and use of network performance analytic tools.</li>\n <li>Assist system engineers and cross organizational teams to formulate solutions in response to mission requirements.</li>\n <li>Design and verify network solutions to support requirements for routing protocols, policy based routing, traffic shaping, border gateway protocols, tunneling IP Security, network address translations, network security, firewall contexts, load-balancing, latency, data throughput, WAN acceleration, and monitoring.</li>\n <li>Introduce and integrate new network and telecommunications technologies.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and leadership to Level 0-2 network engineers.</li>\n <li>Verify and validate activities of Level 0-2 network engineers, ensure approved methods and procedures are followed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required Education & Years of Experience </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. \n  <ul>\n   <li>Five (5) additional years of experience in Network Engineering disciplines may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Fifteen (15) years’ experience as a Network Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.</li>\n <li>Firewall experience (Palo alto)</li>\n <li>Network (SYSCO Routers)</li>\n <li>Architecture (knowledge and ability to read a drawing)</li>\n <li>Command Line Interface knowledge</li>\n <li>TACLANE and HAIPE knowledge is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Certification (<strong>possess and maintain one of the following</strong>)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Cisco Certified Network Professional - (CCNP) Routing and Switching</li>\n <li>Cisco Certified Network Professional - (CCNP) Security</li>\n <li><strong>Or equivalent</strong> approved by COR-T</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About WOOD</h2>\n<p><strong>Fringe Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Health Insurance:</strong> Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement Plan:</strong> 401(k) with company match.</li>\n <li><strong>Paid Time Off:</strong> Generous PTO policy including vacation, sick leave, and holidays.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional Development:</strong> Opportunities for training, certifications, and career advancement.</li>\n <li><strong>Work-Life Balance:</strong> Flexible work schedules and remote work options.</li>\n <li><strong>Wellness Programs:</strong> Employee assistance programs, wellness initiatives, and gym membership discounts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Career Growth:</strong> Take advantage of professional development opportunities and career advancement.
